Our client is a leading producer of specialty performance films for flexible packaging and label applications.  Headquartered in the US, they have a global presence and are a leader in the packaging film industry.


 


THE OPPORTUNITY


 


Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Representative, with experience in value-added selling, to promote specialty performance films for food packaging and labeling to converters and food product manufacturers.  The Regional Sales Representative will manage their business with customers in the Southeast US . 


 


The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for sales of specialty polymer packaging films to converters and end-users, identifying key buy influences and employing strategic selling methods in promoting the products’ performance-based and value-added features.


 


This high visibility opportunity is ideal for an aggressive professional with technical experience in selling industrial film in the packaging and label markets.  This position will be a welcome challenge for the professional salesperson who enjoys strategic and value-added selling, and appreciates the challenge of selling specialty, performance polymer film products.


 


Position is based in Atlanta and is responsible for sales in the Southeast US .


 


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:




  • Management of existing sales to customers in the Southeast United States


  • Promote new and innovative products through value-added selling.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers with key accounts and prospects.


  • Achieve sales goals as defined in sales plans and forecasts.

 


REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:




  • BS/ BA degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline.


  • 5+ years experience in industrial sales.


  • Experience in value-added and performance-based selling


  • Knowledge of the packaging film converter market will be a plus


  • Willingness to travel as much as is required.
