Baylor Health Care System is a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system with many care locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth community.
Rehab Nurse
Rehabilitation nurses choose Baylor Health Care System because we offer more than outstanding benefits and a national reputation. We offer the opportunity to play a vital role on a medical team that’s devoted to improving patients’ lives.
Baylor’s nurses are empowered to make decisions that improve patient care. We are committed to a shared leadership model that encourages all staff nurses to be actively involved in setting the clinical policies and procedures for their unit.
Our rehab nurses focus on helping patients recover from debilitating injuries and diseases. They tend to their patients’ special needs and help educate and support them as they move from health care facilities back into their daily lives. Rehab nurses enjoy a slower paced environment, which allows them to build relationships with patients and their families.
They’re part of Baylor Rehabilitation Services. Helping people overcome serious disabilities and restoring them to full, productive lives is the goal of BSR’s clinical staff. Our flagship rehabilitation hospital, Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation (BIR), offers intense, highly specialized rehabilitation services for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and other orthopaedic and neurological disorders. In 2007, for the tenth year, BIR was named among the top rehabilitation hospitals in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Hospitals" guide.
We have career opportunities available for all levels of rehab nurses on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays and PRN, at all of our system hospitals and at BIR
