MRI Network is a global recruiting company.  We are representing a leading Biotechnology company with locations around the world.  Current needs are for a DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS for the Michigan location.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Biology or related life science field 
  • 12+ years Regulatory Affairs experience
  • 10+ years experience in a Biological products laboratory and manufacturing environment  
  • Experience overseeing all regulatory activities for the manufacturing facility including routine lot release, regulatory filings, and filings supporting improvements, support international licensing activities, and foreign registration requirements
  • Background in providing regulatory support to new product development activities    
  • Strength in technical knowledge and ability to incorporate regulations and guidelines to filings
  • Able to author, review and coordinate quality submissions
  • Experience being the liaison to the FDA and other regulatory bodies
  • Strength in communication & presentation skills to internal and external individuals 
  • Experienced managing and directing the Regulatory Affairs department, budget and employees
  • Background includes experience vaccine manufacturing
