Job Description

If you’ve never considered applying your talent in statistical forecasting to the field of HR, you should: HR Analytics is a rapidly growing area of research and application where you can really make your mark. Client data is all-important. Help us build a group on the forefront of HR Analytics using predictive techniques and rigorous statistical approaches to shape the field of HR Data Science. 

Responsibilities include:

·         Develop predictive workforce forecasting models for attrition rates, headcount projections and recruiting demand at the company level as well as provide relevant cuts and sub-models by organization, job family, geographic region, etc.

·         Scenario planning and ‘what if?’ analysis based on forecasting models

·         Produce probabilistic forecasts which including distributions/confidence levels beyond point-level estimates, and communicate forecasting uncertainties in terms of MAPE and other standardized metrics for accuracy monitoring

·         Conduct people analytics that will deliver analysis and modeling of workforce trends in order to support better and faster decision making and development of exceptional staffing plans. Uncover insights through recurring analysis within workforce planning, talent acquisition and workforce optimization

·         Aggregate and analyze data pulled from disparate sources (HR, Finance or other business systems) and related industry and external benchmarks; provide insights and a point of view on analysis and recommendations

·         Design and deliver automated, scalable work products to stakeholders within a negotiated timeframe (on time)

·         Visualize results of statistical analyses in the form of graphs, charts, tables and scorecards

·         Summarize written findings, publicize results and engage with senior leadership as appropriate

 

Basic Qualifications:

·         M.S. in a relevant technical field, such as economics, finance, statistics, or computer science and 4+ years’ experience

·         Experience building forecasting models related to workforce movement, customer relationship management, or sales

·         Experience using time series analysis techniques

·         You document your approach for reference and reproducibility in the future

·         Self-starter with the ability to work independently

·         Great organizational skills and attention to detail; you are able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing the ability to dive deep

·         Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

·         Impeccable customer service focus with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations; a team player with a solid work ethic

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Ability to educate others on statistical methods

·         Familiarity with R and/or Tableau

·         Working knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), PeopleSoft or other HRMS systems a plus
