Our client in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an expert R&D test engineer for Fab engineering. This individual will work as a member of the R&D team developing new process technologies for next generation wireless components. As a member of the R&D team, this individual will apply their technical expertise in RF/DC measurement to characterization, reliability, and creating test solutions that enable new technologies to come to market.
Qualifications
Required:
MSEE and 5+ years OR BSEE and 10+ years related experience
A track record of results developing test technologies that enable producibility of new products.
Experience in semiconductor product development from concept to manufacturing.
Experience making bench and automated RF/MW measurements using network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, power meters.
Experience making bench and automated DC measurements using SMUs, LCR meter, semiconductor parameter analyzer.
RF measurement on passive and active components up to 8 GHz.
Working knowledge of measurement uncertainty sources and principles.
Experience with automatic instrument control using protocols such as GPIB, LXI, PXI.
A track record of meeting aggressive schedules with breakthrough performance. Demonstrated leadership of multi-functional teams in software and hardware system solutions.
Desired:
MSEE and 10+ years related experience
Experience making on-wafer RF measurement of both active and passive devices including stability considerations.
RF/MW circuit design for multi-stage active circuits
Three or more years experience with RF circuit simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, Momentum
Loadpull and noise parameter extraction
Large signal network analysis and modeling
Experience developing measurement and driver software using a structured programming language. Specific experience in VEE, Perl, C, C#, javascript, or VB a plus. Working knowledge of Unix, Linux.
