RIC Tax Specialist and Partnership / Alternative Investment Tax Specialist
Do you have 5-10 years of investment tax experience? Our client, a Boston based investment management firm, is seeking a RIC Tax and Partnership / Alternative Investment Specialist to join its team. Both of these positions require in-depth technical tax experience as well as a CPA. Some of the responsibilities for both positions will be:- Providing oversight of tax compliance.
- Interacting with vendors, custody banks, and outside counsel.
- Performing extensive tax research regarding regulations.
These positions are critical to the ongoing function of the funds and provide a valuable resource for the fund operations team. Additional requirements of these positions include:- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively internally and externally.
- Significant experience with and an understanding of complex tax issues and their effect on registered, feeder, and stand alone products.
