Emergency Room Manager Boston, MA Seeking an experienced ER Manager to work at an outstanding facility in the Boston Metro area. You will support the Director in the operational oversight of clinical activities and foster the professional growth of the staff. Job Description: - Assesses level of competency and knowledge base of nurses and other ancillary personnel based on written exam, direct observation of skills, interview techniques and informal conversation with appropriate follow up. - Coordinates and conducts orientation programs for nursing personnel. - Serves as a consultant and role model to staff in areas of clinical expertise and interpretation of policies and procedures. - Counsels staff members, as indicated, and serves as mediator for personnel problems and documents appropriately. - Challenges the staff to grow professionally by setting goals. Qualifications/Specifications: Education: BSN graduate of an accredited nursing program, MSN preferred
Credentials: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience: Minimum of two years of recent experience as a manager.
