ROPS TRAINING INSTRUCTOR - Tacoma , WA



This position develops and presents skill-based, operational training materials and training classes to the Revenue Operations team in accordance with Revenue Operations and DaVita initiatives.
 
 


Training and Development

  • Train new and existing teammates on Revenue Operations functions and processes

  • Deliver training to offsite teammates as required

  • Develop training materials to enhance existing topics and improve overall quality

    • Create and distribute Tips of the Day as required

    • Develop and deliver Revenue Operations and field training via WebEx as required

    • Develop pre- and post-test for training engagements

    • Grade tests as required

    • Update existing training material with new processes and screen shots as required; ensure materials reflect system upgrades and ROPS process changes

  • Proactively identify and lead training projects to support company growth

  • Initiate research and development of new training topics that will support teammate growth

    • Research information required to answer Revenue Operations questions

Trainer of the Day
  • Serve as Trainer of the Day on a rotating basis

    • Point of Contact for teammate questions

    • Respond to Trainer of the Day questions

    • Escalate Trainer of the Day issues as needed

    • Log Trainer Of the Day teammate questions into Remedy tracking system

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
  • Provide 1:1 training with Revenue Operations teammates as needed

  • Serve on business related committees and report results to the Training Team

  • Participate in and/or facilitate local training meetings and bi-coastal training meetings

  • Support training team including but not limited to filling in as trainer for classes when a team member is absent or unable to meet scheduled commitments due to an emergency

  • Travel required: up to 25%






  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area

  • Minimum of two (2) years' training experience strongly preferred

  • Minimum of one (1) year training experience in Revenue Operations related areas strongly preferred  

  • Experience in instructional design preferred

  • Experience in the development and presentation of skill-based, operational training programs preferred

  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required; basic proficiency in Excel and Access preferred
