Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Route Delivery Driver.   This is a full-time, union position. Hours are M-F with some overtime.  You may also work a 4-10 hour day shift consisting of Tues - Fri  from appx. 6 a.m. til 4:30 p.m. with the possibility of some overtime.  As a Route Delivery Driver you will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen meat, fish and poultry throughout the Bay Area.  This involves unloading product off of the truck onto a hand cart, delivering it to the customer site, putting product in their coolers/freezers and maintaining good customer relations.  You will also be working in the warehouse.  General warehouse work may include unloading trucks, labeling product, putting product away in coolers and freezers, general cleaning, cycle counting in freezers and coolers and putting up orders for will call customers.  This position requires both 12 foot bobtail truck delivery driving and warehousing experience so you must be comfortable working in the warehouse in addition to driving.  Strong attention to detail and the ability to lift and restack product weighing up to 80 pounds is also required. 

To be considered for this position you must have previous delivery driving and warehouse experience, a CLEAN Class C drivers license and electric forklift/pallet jack experience.  Good customer service skills, math skills and the ability to repetitively lift up to 80 lbs is also required.  Race Street hires only the best.  Background checks, drug testing and proof of ability to work in the United States is required.
