Due to continued growth this company has MULTIPLE OPENINGS for experienced RPG DEVELOPERS. Will work directly with a variety of end users to design, code and test programs using RPG IV.

Essential Functions:

• Design, code, and test simple to complex programs to completion using RPG IV, RPG ILE, RPG Free, SQL, or other languages as required.
• Analyzes, evaluates, and document user requests for new and modified systems and programs which may leverage existing technologies or incorporate new technologies that need to be researched and evaluated.
• Assist other development specialists and users in the resolution of problems related to the development, correct operation, and maintenance of programs and business solutions.
• Follows departmental methodologies, standards and procedures for documentation, problem-solving, time reporting and project management.
• Creates project plans including task, time, costs and resource estimates. Manages projects to completion.
• Provide first level technical support to include proactive and reactive incident resolution.
• Requires flexible hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays for implementations/support/on-call rotation

Minimum Requirements:

• Required - AAS Information Technology or related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field desired
• Five + years of significant RPG IV experience
• Position requires domestic and may include international travel
• Manufacturing systems experience (Mapics XA preferred) OR Data Collection / Payroll OR Finance Systems experience
