Radiation Safety Technician

  • Associate's degree is preferred
  • Experience is preferred
  • Responsible for operational support of the radiation safety program. Duties include:
    • Contamination surveys of clinical and research areas
    • Radioactive material package checks and deliveries
    • Instrumentation calibrations, radioactive waste management
    • Radiation dosimetry program support, and emergency response
    • Acts to maintain compliance with state laws


    1-2 years experience preferred, computer skills necessary. NRRPT helpful but not required. Level B Hazmat training helpful. An associate's degree in a science is helpful, but not required. TN.
