Radiation Safety Technician
- Associate's degree is preferred
- Experience is preferred
- Responsible for operational support of the radiation safety program. Duties include:
- Contamination surveys of clinical and research areas
- Radioactive material package checks and deliveries
- Instrumentation calibrations, radioactive waste management
- Radiation dosimetry program support, and emergency response
- Acts to maintain compliance with state laws
1-2 years experience preferred, computer skills necessary. NRRPT helpful but not required. Level B Hazmat training helpful. An associate's degree in a science is helpful, but not required. TN.
