AECOM is looking to hire a talented Rail/Transit Engineer – Looking for a Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the transit industry. The ideal candidate would be proficient in alignment design and development, different types of track design and construction, special trackwork and other rail specialty designs (i.e. gauntlet tracks, turnout and crossover designs, embedment options, restraining rail and guard rail designs, etc.). Thorough understanding of overall rail infrastructure and the interdisciplinary coordination required for successful design development is highly desirable. An intimate understanding of construction documents, including drawings and specifications, as well as hands on experience with traditional and design-build projects are also a MUST. The individual will be located in our Arlington, VA office. Some local travel may be required, depending on project assignments.
