Rational Software Configuration Management Specialist

This person will be responsible for working with a team of Rational architects to plan, deploy and support Rational tools within the software development community. This person should have at least 3 years working experience with Rational ClearCase UCM.  They also should be familiar with ClearQuest and other Rational products like Requisite Pro and RPM. This person should have previous experience supporting end user customers locally and remotely.

Required Skills:  Rational  UCM Fundamentals, Rational ClearCase for Unix, Rational ClearQuest, Perl Scripting, AIX administration, Linux administration, DB2 or SQL

Key Responsibilities:  Responsible for Rational development tools support over multiple, environments consisting of ClearCase and ClearQuest, Administer Rational Admin Project (UCM ClearCase, ClearQuest,RequisitPro), Planning and implementing ClearCase for UCM, Writing Software Configuration Plan, Installation of ClearCase UCM for Windows or AIX,   Writing triggers to implement company policies and access control strategies.  Scripting for automatic synchronization of replicas, Integration of ClearCase with other tools like eclipse, Managing VOBs and Views, Managing ClearCase registry, Managing ClearCase clients like Thick client and CCRC
