The Squires Group needs an experienced Rational Tools Administrator to support a Federal project in Annapolis Junction, MD. US Citizenship Required. Must be clearable.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform duties in the capacity of IBM Rational Tools Administrator for use across an enterprise solution platform
  
• Support the definition and implementation of required customization effort of the Rational tools not limited to Perl Scripting of ClearQuest, extensive support of Rational RequisitePro, ClearCase, CQTest Manager, and other such tools
  
• Monitor the Rational tools performing troubleshooting, tool integration, and problem resolution
  
• Collaboration on Release Management activities within the Systems Development Technical CM group responsible for ensuring that the correct software products are delivered to multiple development, integration, and test environments in a reliable and repeatable manner
  
• Construct build packages for delivery to multiple environments from source components maintained in IBM Rational ClearCase repository
  
• Participate in internal meetings as IBM Rational tools administrator
  
• Participate in customization and pilot program expansion meetings with Customer, as required
  
• Act as a liaison across programs for questions about Rational Tool set and the growth/capabilities of various tools
  
• Perform training on an as needed basis as major enhancements occur and/or as new programs are brought into using the toolset
  
• Perform analysis of new tools being introduced into the suite and consult on both a technical and user level (train the trainer and pilot program support)

Job Requirements include:

• At least 5 years experience designing, developing, and administering IBM Rational tools for configuration, change, and requirements management (specifically ClearQuest, ClearCase, RequisitePro, and other Jazz platform)
  
• Experience working with DB2 solutions (preferably on an AIX platform)
  
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment

• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems either on site
  
• Ability to obtain Secret level clearance
