Raw Materials Sourcing Manager

Mohawk Industries, the world's largest flooring manufacturer and world's largest recycler of PET plastic, has an opportunity for a talented purchasing professional with the energy to lead the organization's recycled plastic bottle purchasing program. The position will manage purchases against production, identify process improvements and hold current suppliers and prospective suppliers to standard on quality.

This important position is an integral part in Mohawk's nationally-recognized sustainability initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least two years in a senior or supervisory role. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of generally accepted purchasing practices, contract negotiation, and related laws and regulations. The abilities to successfully lead a team, to communicate effectively with internal and external sources and to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously are integrally important to this position. Candidates should be comfortable using technology to manage projects, budget, forecast and track trends.
