This is a high-leverage position responsible for designing and implementing strategies for improving our real estate valuation and sales group’s operational efficiencies and effectiveness through the deployment of analytics and business intelligence capabilities. The position reports to the Director, Consumer Psychology. The position will be charged with creating an innovative, multi-tiered systemic approach to real estate valuation analytics and real estate sales strategy encompassing the entire loss-mitigation and REO disposition cycle.The key responsibilities of the position would be:
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Real Estate Sales and maintains responsibility for the following:
•Manage the REO sales process for the state of Georgia – including listing the asset in the appropriate Multiple Listing Service, creating marketing materials, coordinating buyer tours and processing offers
•Coordinate with Ocwen’s REO asset management team to finalize negotiations with potential buyers
•Ensure that all transactions are properly coordinated to ensure successful closing
•Coordinate with internal Ocwen departments to determine signage requirements, lock-box services and maintenance requests
•Develop and maintain and effective network of real estate professionals to facilitate sales
•Develop performance metrics and guide staff towards exceeding stated objectives
•Interact effectively within Ocwen Senior Management, clients and perspective purchasers
Key Result Areas:
•Create team of seasoned real estate associates capable of listing/selling Ocwen’s portfolio of REO assets
•Sell each asset, as directed, within an approved time frame and acceptable prices,to maximize investor returns
Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of five years related experience in real estate sales with at least two years in a management role. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to negotiate, make decisions and recognize priorities both departmental and company wide. A Georgia broker’s license is required and a four-year degree from an accredited university.
