Real Estate Closing Coordinator / Member Service Representative

CU Realty Services provides residential Real Estate services to Credit Unions and their members, saving home buyers & sellers money on every transaction.  Since founded in 2001, CU Realty has grown to service 19 states and 65+ Credit Unions.  

 

We are currently looking for a Closing Coordinator / Member Service Representative to join our team. Our Member Service Representatives are a key element to our organization’s success and are the primary point of contact for our members, offering support, guidance, and assistance in connecting them with a Realtor in our network, or with their credit union for mortgage assistance.  Members using our service receive a rebate which saves them money on their home purchase and/or sale of their home.

 

The Closing Coordinator works with the member (buyer or seller), the Realtor, and the closing title/escrow (or attorney) to coordinate how the rebate (savings) will be used.  This individual will is also responsible for educating all parties on how to use the rebate and ensure that it is properly applied on the HUD Settlement statement. 

 

This is currently a work at home position.  Candidate will be required to establish home office, free from distractions.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a superior customer experience to both existing customers and future customers via telephone, email, and live chat.
  • Placing outbound calls to home buyers/sellers, explaining services, and guiding prospects to our mortgage center and real estate agents. 
  • Educate buyers, sellers, Realtors, Title/Escrow, Lender etc on how the rebate can be used.
  • Project a positive attitude and genuine desire to succeed.
  • Be available to work 1 weekend per month, for on call requests. 

 

Experience:

  • Min 2 years experience in residential escrow, mortgage or real estate related fields
  • Experience preparing and/or approving HUD Settlement statements
  • A service-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills: written, in person, and by phone.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Good decision making skills
  • Ability to establish private in-home office
  • Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 

Helpful but not mandatory: 

  • Broker real estate license
  • Bilingual
