LEASING AGENT

New Orleans property needs an energetic self-starter to lease and support the Property Manager of new residential units which offer tenants outstanding amenities and services. 

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience and /or training in multi-family housing with Class A buildings.  Requires basic understanding of tenant and capital improvements.

Our Leasing Agent will maintain positive relationships and high retention levels with all tenants, anticipate and respond to owner's needs and concerns and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely reports.

Additionally, duties include coordinating marketing and leasing of properties, tenant move-ins and move-outs; showing space, and performing regular inspections of property; qualifying prospective tenants and negotiating new leases and lease renewals; contracting for vendor services, overseeing the collection of rent, payment of expenses, complying with all lease terms and preparing all required legal notices.

Must have an excellent customer service approach to property owners, tenants and vendors.  Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and superior written and oral communication and organizational skills required.
