Real Estate Loan Specialist (Full-Time)
About the Job
DESCRIPTION:
Interview applicants to develop information concerning their needs and desires to assist in meeting their financial goals regarding Service Credit Union’s products and services. This includes, but is not limited to, general inquiries, pre-approval requests and oral and written applications. Responsible to work efficiently in a team environment to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all real estate loan origination responsibilities and credit union goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work effectively independently, as well as being a team player
- Knowledge of secondary market (FNMA/FHLMC) qualifying and underwriting guidelines
- Develop and maintain both realtor and community relationships through effective sales efforts
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel
- PC literate and typing skills required
- Willingness to work extended hours, as responsibilities require
