Purpose The qualified candidate in this role will provide assistance to the Real Estate team in all aspects of real estate while gaining expertise and skill in real estate transactions including site selection, development of new stores, remodels/ expansions, fuel centers, and special related projects. Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Assists with Investment Council submittal process by preparing and assembling submittal packages, compiling and completing meeting agenda and minutes and providing assistance during meetings. Assists with conducting market research and analyzing market conditions by working with the research team to complete food and a drug market studies, demographic and population growth analysis, and modeling and by updating competition reports and maps as required. Assists in completing and analyzing new store operator input forms. Assists Property Management with property management deals that include a substantial co-tenant. Assists in completing required documentation for remodels, expansions and fuel center deals.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in General Business or related field preferred. 2-4 plus years of Real Estate, Market Research or related experience preferred. Basic understanding of real estate documentation and understanding the approval process. Work under guidance from more experienced real estate team members (Real Estate Manager, Sr. Manager or Director). Will initially focus on routine to moderately complex real estate transactions. Self-starter with an ownership attitude. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to represent the Company's interests to outside professionals and vendors. Proficient in personal computer usage and current desk top applications, MapQuest desirable.
