We are currently looking for a Tax Senior Manager to join our Real Estate Tax Group. The incumbent will possess the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, and implementation of client's tax needs. Real Estate Tax Senior Managers draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and possess a working knowledge of the range of services offered by the organization. They are responsible for targeting and selling new and add-on services to current and target clients. Senior Managers provide leadership in timely
and quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of our clients. Engagement Tax Senior Managers will have responsibility for engagement budgeting, billing, management and scheduling. They are also responsible for the development and motivation of engagement staff and provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation within this tax profession.
As a Deloitte Tax Senior Manager qualified applicants should possess:
- 7 or more years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry
- Excellent Research and Writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
- Prior Big 4 experience a plus
- Proven, excellent interaction skills with management/executive presence
- CPA, Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification required
- Advanced Degree preferred: MST, MAcc, JD or LL.M
- Some
travel may be required
