Real-Time Software Developer

Position Description: The Missile Defense Engineering and Analysis Center is looking for experienced real-time software engineers for an air defense missile HWIL simulation.  This job requires developing real-time high fidelity system simulation drivers, developing and integrating HW controllers & interfaces, and working closely with Government HWIL lab personnel to define interfaces, requirements, test scenarios, etc.

The following are the Basic Requirements for this position: BA/BS degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or similar with 10+ years of systems, software, integration & test engineering experience required. Years of experience may be traded for degree requirement. This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.This position requires knowledge of real-time high fidelity simulations, integration of complex systems into DoD simulated dynamic environment labs, analog/digital HW development, and technical leadership. Applicant must have good communication & writing skills and must be proficient in C/C++/C# or Java. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, and must be able to work multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience developing models or simulations in C/C++, Java or Matlab required. Object-oriented development experience preferred.

Desired Qualifications: Experience working in or interfacing with DoD organizations and labs. Knowledge of missile guidance and control systems.
