Job Title: Receptionist / Customer Service Representative


 


Job Summary:


 


Join a growing and dynamic company as a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative in a fast paced environment.  The ideal candidate must have 2+ years prior experience working in a Customer Service Department.  We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate that possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, works great independently and is a team player.  Prior experience answering multi-phone lines a must.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:



  • Receives, investigates and responds to all phone inquiries regarding product shipments, product purchase orders, product returns, and customer inquiries and general complaints.

  • Answers incoming calls via multi-phone line system, determines purpose of call, and responds accordingly.

  • Greets visitors, determines purpose of their visit, and directs them to the appropriate personnel.

  • Prepares daily mail and outgoing / incoming shipments (domestic and international).

  • Tracks customer replacements and problem resolution via internal Call Center Software.

  • Prints daily tracking reports for supervisor's review.

  • Arranges travel accommodations for staff on an as needed basis.

  • Orders office supplies and manages inventory of supplies on a scheduled basis.

  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications / Requirements:



  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years customer service experience required.  Must be friendly, courteous and helpful.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written with internal associates and external contacts at all levels.

  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities and effectively meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills a must.

  • Ability to express good grammar, voice and diction when speaking on the telephone.

  • Ability to exercise good sound judgment and problem resolution skills.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office/Outlook skills (with emphasis in Excel) a must.
