Position Description:
In this position you will investigate, recover and resolve all types of claims as well as recovery and resolution for health plans, commercial customers and government entities.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Initiate telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits data

  • Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management

  • Process recovery on claims

  • Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance

  • May also conduct contestable investigations to review medical history as well as monitor large claims, including transplant cases

Qualifications:
  • High school education or GED required

  • 1+ years experience MS Office (Word and Excel) is required

  • 1+ year customer service experience is required

  • 1+ year work experience required; preferably in the healthcare industry

  • 1+ year typing experience required

  • 1 year experience in telemarketing or phone experience is preferred

  • Prior Coordination of Benefits (COB) or related experience preferred

  • Experience in a call center environment preferred
