Electrical Systems, Business Manager

Candidates will have to develop and prepare
operating expense budget for Electric Systems.
This will include preparing annual budget, conducting budget meetings, revising
monthly forecasts, preparing accounting adjustments and identifying monthly
accruals. Monthly, quarterly and annual routine and non-routine analysis is
prepared including variances with explanations of the results of operation
including but not limited to operation and maintenance expenses, payroll and other
income/deductions. Key Performance Indicators are developed, analyzed and
reported on a monthly basis. From this, financial processes are analyzed and
reviewed for improvements to increase reporting accuracy. In addition, there
are other financial responsibilities regarding ES operations that are
identified and performed as necessary.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related analytic discipline
including but not limited to Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business and a
minimum of 8 years experience performing analyses in several areas of a Finance
organization and preferably providing operational support to at least one
business area. Direct experience in utility accounting and general accounting preferred.
Must be self-directed and demonstrate initiative. Other requirements include
strong quantitative skills with the ability to write reports and strong verbal
skills with the ability to create effective presentations.
