We are currently seeking a Recruiter who will support the efforts of the recruitment process from sourcing through hire within a fast paced, high volume environment.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience within the Apparel Industry, use creative and alternative recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and hire quality talent.


 


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


 



  • Gather and outline objectives for each open position with the hiring manager to develop an accurate job description, qualifications, required skills and salary range for the position
  • Partner with hiring manager on interviewing practices and strategies
  • Source candidates through a variety of methods (job fairs, employee referrals, advertisements, public organizations, internet, cold calling, and schools)
  • Coordinate the interview process and act as a liaison for all persons involved within the hiring process
  • Interview candidates to determine skill set, fit within the organization and level of interest
  • Review information from interviews and recommend the most appropriate candidates to the hiring manager
  • Gather interview feedback in order to identify and select the most qualified candidates
  • Maintain frequent communication with the candidate(s) through and after the final offer
  • Coordinate the new hire’s first day with the Human Resources Department
  • Maintain a staffing status report on a weekly basis
  • Create an extensive network of industry professionals and external recruiters

 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ARE:


 



  • Experience recruiting preferred
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and successfully build relationships with Executive Management and Hiring Managers
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to smoothly execute the recruitment process including sourcing, candidate selection, interviewing and extending an offer within tight timelines
  • Familiarity with employment laws relating to the recruiting function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

 


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree required
