The Staffing Consultant is responsible for providing qualified internal and external candidates, for all temporary and full-time opportunities to Williams Lea. This position covers the whole recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through to appointment and candidate management.
Job Responsibilities:
· Fill all vacancies (temporary and permanent) within the timelines required by the hiring manager and while providing a high level of customer service.
· Follow established processes for recruiting and sourcing of candidates.
· Understand and articulate Williams Lea's business proposition to candidates.
· Ensure all applicants have been properly screened and all steps in the compliance process have been taken before any employee enters the client premises.
· Maintain regular communication with hiring managers in order to understand their recruitment challenges and requirements.
· Establish effective business relationships with hiring managers to fully understand complete job requirements and client culture.
· Gather and compile staffing statistics as requested for management reports.
· Participate in the implementation of new site start-ups including the coordination of internal transfers.
· Assist with the design, implementation and review of recruiting systems and procedures as needed.
· Adhere to all relevant local and federal employment laws.
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent is required.
- 3 - 5 years operational Recruiting experience, with experience of managing both temporary and permanent recruitment requirements.
- Experience of volume recruitment and of sourcing candidates from a variety of mediums in a stressful environment.
- Experience of competency and behavioural based interviewing at all levels.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Word and Excel and Lotus Notes needed.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.
- Advanced web searching skills, including familiarity with recruitment web sites.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, with an emphasis on detecting errors and/or potential fraud.
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
