Job Summary:

The Recruitment Manager leads the recruitment, staffing, and community relations activities for the entire Memphis Technicolor HES campus. The Memphis campus currently staffs over 2000 full time and seasonal employees; the campus currently includes multiple warehouse, distribution and production related facilities totaling over 4 million square feet. Successful candidates should have significant experience and exhibit proficiency in the following areas:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages all internal and external recruitment processes included but not limited to posting, requisition management, interviewing, pre-employment screenings and extending offers of employment.
  • Provides support and services to ops teams when sourcing, recruiting and hiring resources.
  • Ensures consistency of processes and that compliance with legal standards in regards to hiring new employees.
  • Maintains all internal talent information ensuring that the business uses "promote from within" actions prior to external recruitment efforts.
  • Partner with training team on developing and maintaining a pool of managers and supervisors trained on the interviewing process.
  • Actively participates in new hire orientation.
  • Oversees all aspects of Applicant Tracking System.
  • Represents the company at local career fairs,
  • Maintains strong presence in the community as a representative of the company with local educational institutions and charitable organizations.
  • Establish internship programs with local colleges as entry level recruitment throughout Memphis operations.
  • Partners with HR managers on developing and maintaining staffing plans consistent with business needs.
  • Actively participates in all reorganization efforts ensuring consistency with other THES sites and legal compliance.
  • Manages reporting needs related to recruitment activity.
  • Manages all community relations activities for the Memphis campus ensuring that consistent opportunities to contribute to the community are available to employees.
  • Maintains monthly calendar of all community involvement activities, partners with HR site teams on the facilitation and communication of activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Basic Responsibilities:

  • Multi-tasking abilities, energetic, creative.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills including the ability to negotiate, coach, motivate, support change, make timely and effective decisions.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate to a diverse and large workforce and all levels of management.
  • Position requires an individual that is willing to support change, be flexible.
  • Proficient with MS software.

 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4-5 years related experience in recruiting or human resources function.
  • Candidate will be capable of demonstrating previous success recruiting and staffing for a large, preferably multi-site, workforce.
  • Candidate must have previous experience utilizing multiple recruitment sourcing tools to effectively and efficiently recruit.
  • Must have previous experience recruiting talent for both hourly and exempt level positions.
