Job Summary: All aspects of refrigeration installation including (but not limited to) pipe fitting and welding, prepping and setting cases, installing rack systems, setting walk-in panels, running all refrigeration lines, testing systems for refrigerant leaks, charging systems with refrigerant, and system start-ups. Installation of various refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers/freezers, refrigeration cases within grocery and convenience stores, rack systems, ice machines, etc.
Qualifications: BothJourneyman and Apprenticeinstallers must have their own hand tools, flashlight, sawzal, cordless drill and extension cords. Would prefer Journeyman to have own leak detector, volt/amp meter, gauges, and torch, but will be provided by company on all large/construction jobs. Journeyman refrigeration installers must have Universal EPA Certification and welding experience. Apprentice refrigeration installers do not need certification upon hire, but must be willing to become certified for advancement.
Hours/Schedule: Temporary (3-4 months) and long-term jobs avaialble. Work typically scheduled between 0700 and 1700 in the Salt Lake area, but must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends, and/or travel out of town for construction/remodel installation jobs.
Expectations: Dependable, hard worker with little supervision, self-motivated, willing to learn, quick learner, and must have transportation to and from work/job site.
