My client has been in business over 10 years as a global Air/Ocean Freight Forwarder. Their World Headquarters is located in the North East. They have had phenomenal growth averaging 35% per year. They are recognized as one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the USA. They provide a full service menu of services domestically as well as International Import / Export. In addition they do project logistics and handle the heaviest shipments using Intermodal, Rail, Ocean or Truck. They also perform CHB.
Job Background:
My client is looking for an experienced Air/Ocean Freight Sales person to cover the Boston area as well as the NE. You can live anywhere within commuting distance of Manchester, NH. That would include Boston, MA. This is a newly created job which is truly a ground floor opportunity where you can in essence write your own check. Your primary focus will be to sell forwarding and Project Cargo to customers within your NE territory.
Job Requirements:
• College Degree or equivalent work experience
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of successful forwarder sales
experience
• Multi-Mode (Air, Ocean, Truck, Intermodal) Transportation a plus
• International Freight Forwarding Sales/Operations experience a must
Job Location:
The successful candidate must be within commuting distance of Manchester, NH. A candidate living in the Boston area would certainly be ok. Once you prove yourself a home office environment would be ok.
Compensation:
• Base salary /Commission commensurate with experience and
salary history
• Total compensation expected to be over 6 figures 1st year.
• Full benefits / Car Allowance / Cell phone allowance / laptop
