Title: Regional Account Manager, Inside Sales
Reporting to: Director of Sales
Position Objective
· Obtain new revenue for the company through the sales of First Index product offerings, mainly subscription services.
· Professionally represent First Index at all times to ensure long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for acquiring new First Index revenue within the U.S. and Canada by positioning First Index’s value proposition and developing business relationships for First Index’s sourcing service solutions. Revenue will be acquired through the development of new customer acquisition.
· Prospect for, identify, and cultivate sales lead opportunities within a defined set of prospects in a defined geographical territory.
· Acquire and maintain knowledge about customers’ business practices and functions, particularly in custom manufactured part manufacturing; understand the relationship between the customers’ business and how First Index products/services help overcome their challenges and capture opportunities.
· Prepare and deliver First Index value presentations to audiences of all levels, from executive to sales staff.
· Remain knowledgeable about key business trends and communicate pertinent insights to prospective customers.
· Effectively manage and communicate with manager and sales team regarding the sales process, and be proficient in use of sales force tools.


Experience required for this position
· Demonstrated sales ability (identify, nurture and close revenue opportunities); assertive, persistent, good listener, and self-motivated.
· Working knowledge of custom-development processes as they pertain to the manufacturing industry is a plus.
· 3+ years experience in acquiring and developing new business relationships in a business/professional services environment. (selling experience into manufacturing companies preferred)
· Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota-driven goals.
· Excellent negotiator, strong presentation skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
