Responsibilities: - Skilled and technical administration position involving the coordination and administration of the construction activity in order to meet budgeted objectives. - Oversees and schedules work for in-house personnel and outside contractors, assuring all work complies with both company policy and those set forth by city, county and state agencies. - Reviews ongoing progress of construction projects. - Oversees compliance of safety standards. - Oversees quality control of construction projects. - Initiates and monitors processes for capital expenditures and is responsible to ensure budget is met. - Maintains a high level of productivity, assuring time-frames are met for the many projects occurring simultaneously. - Maintain contact with all city and state agencies in order to submit, plan and construct all new build growth areas. - Coordinate and plan all forced relocate projects, insuring that Comcast facilities are properly moved as needed. - Work with Director of Technical Operations and Technical Operations Managers to complete all needed plant maintenance. - Complete all needed construction reporting as required by system and region. - Work with Business Services to construct plant extensions to newly signed commercial clients. - Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills: Minimum Requirements: - Ten years CATV experience - 3 years aerial and underground construction and design experience - 5 years supervisory experience - Proven project management skills - Proven ability to review and analyze budget documents and meet financial objectives - PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook (CAD knowledge preferred) - Valid Driver's License, good driving record. - Willingness to travel.
