Currently, we are seeking an experienced sales representative who knows how to close the deal to cover the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan.

In this position, you'll be responsible for:

• Building effective relationships with school accounts
  
• Identifying state and local adoption opportunities for our K-12 inquiry-based science and math curriculum products
  
• Coordinating activities with marketing/product managers
  
• Working with inside sales staff and curriculum consultants
  
• Preparing sales reports, assisting with forecasts and budgets and managing expenses
  
• Attending trade shows, exhibits, district adoptions meetings and presentations

To qualify, we require:

• Bachelor's degree in education (preferably science or math) or business/marketing
  
• Valid driver's license
  
• Strong presentation, relationship-building, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and business skills
  
• A proven track record in outside sales with demonstrated success in reaching sales goal
  
• 1 years' experience in educational publishing sales is required
  
• 2 years' teaching experience, preferably in science, will be considered in lieu of educational publishing sales experience
  
• Extensive travel approximately 75% of the time
