Regional Director of Operations

GENERAL FUNCTION:
 
The overall mission of the RDO is to be a leader within the Pearle organization, delivering the brand promise and organizations key results through effective management of key talent. He/She will also serve as a strategic partner to focus and influence Franchise system sales, product and profitability to protect and enhance the Pearle brand image.  
 
Specifically, the RDO is responsible for delivering Pearle key results, modeling the cultural beliefs of the organization, developing a satisfied team of high potential associates to that consistently exceed customer expectations in delighting the customer, and aligning franchise, store and regional execution to brand strategies.
 
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Deliver the desired results of the organization.
  • Lead a culture of alignment in designated region to the vision, mission, and brand promise. Ensure franchise consistency with Pearle brand and operating standards while growing franchise locations.
  • Provide and maintain strong consultative services to our Franchise Community.
  • Conduct business reviews and create, in conjunction with the franchise owner, action plans to improve franchise retails sales and profitability. 
  • Serve as a liaison between Luxottica Retail and the Franchisees by promoting Luxottica initiatives, services and products and ensuring lines of communication are open and positive. 
  • Demonstrates Eexcellence to Iidentify, assess, calibrate, and develop s brand right talent at the store level to fill all current and future needs (Retail and Doctor)
  • Model and coach 5 leadership practices and key sales behaviors and share best practice strategies to drive store results.
  • Ensure stores deliver the brand experience consistently to each customer.
  • Meet Operating and brand standards (SOP, labor, shrink, cost control)
  • Lead OD business partnership, influences selection and renewal process
  • Serve as feedback link liaison to CSC on process, opportunities, and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of new business development initiatives.
  • Build strategic execution plans with measures and disciplined time lines.
  • Lead final stages of new store development working with the franchisee and CSC departments to ensure effective new store opening.
  • Ensures all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level.
  • Establishes a culture that embraces diversity and maximizes the learnings from a diverse team.
  • Expand franchise store network to include the recruiting of qualified franchise candidates and real estate.

 EDUCATION
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
 EXPERIENCE
  • 10 + years management experience
  • 7 + years experience in multi-unit retail industry environment
  • Solid track record as accomplished business leader
 Must be willing to travel 75% of the time
