Scope of position:
This position will entail creating reports based on the needs of client and/or operational departments. We are looking for technically minded individuals with the ability to learn rapidly and work aggressively to provide time-sensitive solutions in this fast-paced industry.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will be dedicated to daily tasks, which include:
- Defining and analyzing project system requirements
- Helping quantify the productivity results of each solution or tool created
- Assisting operational managers and account managers with data requirements needed to perform their daily tasks
- Internal Reporting (i.e., status and analytical reports)
- QMR and Client Reporting (i.e., detailed financial reporting)
- Creating and providing support for scripts within operations
- Incorporate scripts with other productivity tools developed
- Working with corporate business and development to ensure that the tools and processes designed are in-line with our core systems and are developed properly on a scalable level
- Maintaining a project list capturing status, timeliness, priorities and future projects, and being able to provide this update to the reporting structure for this position
- Incorporating new technologies and technical advancements within operational training
- Collaborating with other regions on best practices and technology solutions
- Ability to build dashboards to drive workflow of current processes
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with SQL - Complex query design for reporting purposes
- Scripting experience - JavaScript preferred, but other experience acceptable
- Relational and transactional database knowledge
- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Office development (MS Excel/MS Access/ SQL server)
- Inetsoft reporting solutions a plus
- Prior reporting experience - Other experience with reporting systems/solutions
- Time to put into reading the software manuals, Develop Wiki pages and studying the existing reports, templates and dashboards
- Time to gather, review and analyze branch operations requirements
- Ability to self-teach needed programming technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel
- Ability to design creative solutions to meet business needs
- Strong analytical skills

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or 4 years related experience
