The Opportunity:
Be the prime driver for growing the use of GIS and ESRI software in our regional offices. This is a challenging opportunity to utilize your proven sales and management success to lead dynamic teams dedicated to selling our world-leading GIS software and help shape the full spectrum of our global sales activities.

The Team:
Sales at ESRI is more than selling boxes; it is about making a difference. Our sales staff uses their technical experience, domain knowledge, and results-driven focus to sell solutions--not just features and functions--to help our customers solve business problems. We are looking for strategic thinkers and motivated professionals for our 10 U.S. regional offices who can help our customers find a smarter way to do business using our cutting-edge technology.


Responsibilities
Develop regional goals and objectives that coincide with the national goals to achieve financial success for the region.
Provide executive leadership and guidance for all ESRI staff working in the region by implementing company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with marketing managers on performance management and employee development.
Manage shared resources, personnel, and infrastructure to reinforce the company’s basic principles and core competencies.
Attend key conferences and user group meetings.


Requirements
Bachelors or masters in GIS or a related field, or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of sales and/or marketing experience in a technical field.
Minimum of five years of experience managing a sales team.
Knowledge of and experience using ESRI products.
Ability to develop productive relationships with customers, business partners, colleagues, and management.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to travel as needed.

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
