Regional Manager of Channel Sales – Central or Western Region

Our client currently seeks a Regional Manager of Channel Sales for the Central or Western Region.


 


Requirements:




  • 10 years of sales experience in the wireless space – no exceptions.


  • Must be very technically savvy – strong preference given to those coming from sales engineering.


  • Ability and proven success of building and managing a territory plan to develop a region.


  • Past experience successfully hiring and leading a team.

  • Successful track record of consistent quota attainment as well as strong pipeline management.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented personality with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Fast-paced and driven with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong outgoing nature, thick-skinned with the ability to push back when necessary.
  • 4-year degree preferred.

 


Responsibilities:




  •  Engage distributor sales teams to discover and develop new and existing VARs (value added resellers).

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers/VARs as well as build strong internal relationships with the company support team.
  • Although a channel sales role, some direct selling should be expected at times.
  • Track, communicate deal development and pipeline to sales management.
  • Converse with customers at all levels of technology discussions with or without a sales engineer present.
  • Work remotely with travel as needed for this customer-facing sales role.
