Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers is seeking an Regional Admissions/Marketing Director for the Houston area. This position is responsible for promoting the services of the regional facilities, providing continual training and monitoring the marketing/admissions of the facility Admissions/Marketing Coordinator.
List of Specific Job Description:
- Promote and be knowledgable of all facility services including community programs.
- Promote training at all Admissions/Marketing Coordinators.
- Monitor and provide training to facility staff regarding admission process and marketing efforts.
- Monitor and assist with the admission coordinator for speedy admission process result and a smooth transition/admission for the resident.
- Assist with the development of all facility strategic marketing plans. Monitor and document the progression of strategic marketing plan. Report progression of the strategic plan to the facility Administrator, Admission/Marketing Coordinator, Regional Vice President and staff.
- Monitor all ATM (admissions team meeting) census reports for accuracy and completion on a daily basis. Monitor ATM for promptness of decision making regarding inquires.
- Review Admissions/Marketing Coordinators weekly planner and actual accomplishments.
- Monitor each facility referral binder for completion.
- Conduct monthly meetings and in-services with admission coordinators.
- Conduct meetings with Director of Nurses (DON), Business Office Manager (BOM), Administrator and assessment nurse to ensure all documentation required for the determination of appropriateness of admission, reimbursement and medical necessity are being provided upon admission.
- Assist the Admissions/Marketing Coordinator with development of new referral sources and innovative ways to heighten community awareness.
- Meet with referral sources of each facility to ensure needs are being met and done in a timely manner.
- Assist each facility with community/facility events.
- Provide periodic review of each admissions coordinator with the administrator.
- Actively assist and participate in the enhancement of the lives of our residents through our dedicated approach to patient care and our census-building program.
- Actively assist and participate in the development and retention of staff through recruitment, training and nurturing the employees of the nursing home.
