2009 marks the 25th anniversary of BJ's Wholesale Club, which first introduced the warehouse club concept to the northeastern U.S. in 1984. Since then, we have expanded north to Maine, south to Florida and west into Ohio, today operating 180 Clubs in 15 states.

Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting established Business and Inner Circle membership sales goals through direct field sales efforts for a defined geographic area. Also, responsible for managing BJ’s Business and Corporate Sales Representatives, including recruitment, training, and assigning goals and territories. Additionally responsible for traveling with Sales Representatives on a weekly basis, monitoring performance and adherence to all BJ’s Policies and procedures, instituting training techniques, and coaching and counseling. Additional responsibilities include, developing market/club sales strategies, overseeing execution of new Zone or HO-directed programs as needed, and performing additional tasks and/or responsibilities as needed. This position will report to the Zone Manager of Membership Sales and works closely with Zone/Regional Operations Managers, General Managers, Regional Acquisition Retention Managers and various Home Office departments. Performs additional tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Requires a high standard of professionalism and strong business ethics. Excellent communication, management and team building skills and strong interpersonal and organizational skills are also required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, including cold-call selling is essential. Travel is required.
