Major Medical Corporation is seeking its Regional Operations Manager to manage the company’s operations, planning, distribution and customer service functions in multiple locations throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will have broad based service delivery experience, in-depth understanding of operational metrics, truck routing and distribution, P&L management, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and experience with individual and team development. Knowledge of the health care industry is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum10 years of operations leadership experience with demonstrated track record for results. Experience in healthcare industry a plus.
- B.S. business, industrial management or equivalent career/work experience.
- Previous experience with planning and leading logistics/distribution activities.
- Successful management of P&L and meeting budget targets; able to meet/exceeded goals in achieving production, truck routing, and warehouse efficiency while maintaining the highest quality and safety results.
- A strong understanding of business management metrics and a sound pattern of using facts and data to solve problems and make difficult decisions.
- Entrepreneurial spirit. Being a Change Agent and is Self-Motivated and has flexibility to thrive in a quickly growing and changing environment.
- Attention to detail and aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring proper follow through and completion.
- Strong leader with proven individual and team development skills in order to align and motivate employees and build a positive culture of employee engagement.
- Ability to travel approximately 40-50% as needed.
- Strong and proven PC skills/Microsoft Excel/Suite.
