We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic Regional Project Manager to work at the direction of the Senior Vice President to facilitate and assure the compliant, efficient, professional and profitable operation of assigned Ovations’ venues.
In this newly-created, high-energy position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and entails extensive travel. The ideal candidate must have the ability, flexibility and willingness to travel extensively throughout the US and Canada.
The Regional Project Manager ("RPM") will assume a leadership role in developing financial analytic reviews, KPI and other performance-based metrics for existing and prospective venues. A key function of the RPM will be leading teams to ensure the successful opening of new Ovations venues. In conjunction with the SVP, this individual ultimately oversees all aspects of every managerial, FT and PT position within the Ovations Gaming Division. In addition to assisting with project planning and execution, the RPM ensures that all operations are fully compliant with state and federal laws, as well as with all Ovations policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough, high-level working knowledge of full service restaurant operations, fine dining, branded food court outlets, high-volume concessions, banquet and catering facilities, in-room dining, nightclubs, bars, lounges, theaters. In addition, a thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. is required.
A Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Hospitality Management or Culinary Sciences, or equivalent, with emphasis on business administration, accounting, finance is preferred. Minimum 10 years progressive food and beverage management experience in increasingly more responsible positions. Minimum 5 years experience in regional or senior- level management of multi-unit operations with unit volumes ranging from $2MM to $15MM+. Expert-level working knowledge of time & attendance systems, POS systems, inventory management systems, MSProject, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
