Regional Sales Development Executive
Our client is a multibillion dollar global organization that is the dominant company in their industry. They remain financially very strong and are in fact growing and hiring.
The organization is creating several new sales roles to further grow the business.
The Regional Sales Development Executives will have responsibility for new account generation and new business development (they are strongly supported in qualified lead generation by inside sales.) Targeted accounts will typically each have revenue potential in the six & seven figure range...for our client, these would be 'mid-sized' accounts.
The new hires will be home-office based sales executives who will cover a regional geography, including considerable travel to prospective customers.
Target accounts are new and this is a “land it and hand it off” system where others will manage the account once the RSDE brings in the new business.
Sales cycles can be long, 12-24 months is not uncommon. Their products and services are a relatively complex solution that fits a strategic selling approach.
They will be open on industry background but your work must be B2B sales to large corporations.
Possible locations include: Southern CA, Chicago, Dallas and possibly Florida.
Compensation: up to ~100K + 15-50% bonus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 or more years experience in a B2B solution sales role, selling to larger corporations
- Must be very strong on building a value proposition using complex solutions with a lot of variables
- Experience with long sales cycles and multiple decision makers
- Understanding of strategic selling processes
- Willing to relo to one of the aforementioned markets or already live there
- Willing to travel 60-75% & work from a home office
