Regional Sales Manager
Corporate Graphics is a direct marketing services company. We provide data management, data processing, direct mail and fulfillment service to large businesses and organizations. Corporate Graphics is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to work remotely in the Chicago and East Coast markets or at headquarters in the Twin Cities. Position Description: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the identification and acquisition of new customers that require data processing and direct mail services. They are also responsible for follow through on sales growth opportunities when assigned by management. They must be equally capable of developing multi-million dollar accounts and of acquiring new customers. The Regional Sales Manager must be a strong team player able to effectively collaborate with the operations, marketing, and business development teams while managing to an individual sales growth goal. The Regional Sales Manager must be able to listen to the customer, recognize key issues, understand trends, and develop the customer’s vision on how our services could be utilized to solve their problems. They must also be able to establish and maintain long term relationships with new and existing customers. They must be able to effectively work with all levels of organizations: from the executive suite to the operations floor. Position Responsibilities (not limited to): · Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities · Conducting in-depth customer needs assessments · Relationship development ensuring account acquisition, retention, and growth · Joint development and executing of new customer contracts · Interfacing with customer senior decision makers · Understanding customer needs and communicating back to the appropriate business teams · Jointly developing appropriate service, product, and technology solutions for targeted accounts · Creating and delivering professional proposals and presentations · Providing pricing input · Creating and delivering RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs · Providing written and oral updates to sales and operations management · Documenting sales process and completing timely updates to CRM system · Forecasting to a reasonable degree of accuracy and adhering to the forecast Required Skills and Attributes (not limited to): · Strong knowledge of Direct Marketing industry in its entirety · Additional knowledge of data processing · Solid business acumen · Ability to understand key prospect business issues and position products and services accordingly · Superb written and oral communication skills · Public presentation skills · Ability to build professional rapport quickly with high-level decision makers · Ability to establish and maintain long term relationships with key decision makers · Solid prospecting skills and ability to quickly qualify or disqualify · Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word · Excellent project management skills · Self starter and able to work independently · Ability to travel as needed · Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration · Ability to comfortably conduct and participate in board-rooms · Outstanding problem-solving skills · Exceptional organizational skills Education and/or Experience: · Minimum 5 years sales experience selling “programs” · Minimum 5 years direct marketing experience · Experience presenting to board room executives · Bachelor’s degree in related field required
