Reporting to the Senior. Vice President Sales Midwest of a 70 year old, debt free, privately held truckload carrier with revenues over $230 million, with a modern fleet of 1,100 tractors and over 3,000 trailers, providing irregular route service to 48 states, servicing many Fortune 500 customers. Responsible for complete sales cycle process including suspect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale, based in the Indiana area and responsible for new customer development and the elimination of layovers. Challenge is to increase revenues and improve profitability.
