We have an immediate need for a key person to fill the position of  Regional Sales Manager(s) one for West Coast and one for the East Coast.


 


These position will handle the educational needs for our accounts in assigned region. The Educator’s responsibility is to support the sales of products to salons, and the sale of the products to the consumer by creating and implementing educational programs that position Murad as the leading education resource in the skin-care industry.  



General Description:


Responsible for increasing market share and delivering sales volume and profit targets.   Manage Account Executives, and direct and coordinate the work of others in a strong team oriented, and cross function manner.  Works directly with Field Sales Director and Education Managers.















Primary Responsibilities:



  • Accountable for delivering  net shipment and profit targets for assigned region
  • Responsible for managing within assigned operating budgets
  • Develops strong partnerships with account and manages overall marketing, merchandising and education plans.
  • Ensure successful execution of new product introductions and key promotions.
  • Provide input and feedback to marketing regarding promotional results, future needs, and competitive trends.
  • Responsible for of co-op, samples, and GWP budgets to achieve net shipment targets
  • Responsible for communicating brand priorities to the field and customers
  • Develop effective relationships and establish credibility with key senior management within the assigned accounts and Tier 1 & Tier 2 accounts.
  • Work with Education Managers to develop education and event strategies to deliver net shipment targets. 
  • Conduct regular market visits with Account Executives
  • Hire, train and develop Account Executives and provide clear and consistent expectations of performance results

Education / Training and Experience:




BA/BS in Marketing or education/experience equivalent. 



  • Previous success in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
  • Previous sales experience  5+ years at a major corporate account or cosmetics company.
 

Supervisory Skills:


Must have strong supervisory skills.


 


Travel:


Heavy Travel


Must be able to travel by car, air, train, etc.
