A leading SAAS supply chain provider with a secure transaction infrastructure that reduces the inefficiencies and uncertainties found in traditional i transportation processes, has a key opportunity for a West Coast Regional Sales Manager . This company provides a cost-effective, practical service for supply chain management by streamlining and enhancing the overall processes. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the RSM will be responsible for driving and participating in multi-region sales cycles which include global and domestic shippers. In addition to Regional Sales, the RSM will work with other sales team members and other departments to close high volume, multi-national accounts in other geographies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Ideal Candidate will have an extensive sales background in international supply chain and international logistics. Experience working for freight forwarders, consolidators, shippers, supply chain information technology providers is preferred.
Responsibilities:
● Develop relationships with Global enterprise customers in key market segments to cover all
Verticals including CPG, Life Sciences, Retail, Chemicals
■ Identify economic and technical buyers in prospect stage, and work through organizational
chart to ensure buy-in to all departments
■ Manage complex sales cycles with direct clients as well as channel partners
■ Coordinate sales process with marketing, sales operations, pre & post sales consulting,k
■ Spearhead sales campaigns throughout every phase of sales cycle
■ Collaborate with support, professional services, and implementation team to ensure long-
term stability and success
Requirements:
Solid understanding of complex enterprise software sales. Firm grasp of logistics and supply chain. International forwarding, third party logistics, and supply chain management expertise. Must be experienced in complex sales strategies, a self-starter, team strategist, entrepreneurial, and have strong follow-through skills. Five years of software sales to large companies is peferred coupled with five + years of 3PL, international forwarding, or transportation. Must have proven track record of success in prior sales positions. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
