Summary


 


Reporting to the Regional Vice President, US Sales, this position is responsible for developing, leading and managing the Regional US sales  in achieving their business goals through evaluation and execution  of revenue growth activities, expense/revenue expenditures and resource deployment.   Working with the US sales team, the position will be responsible for expanding the US markets, customer base and product offerings within the corporate expansion plans. 


 


Essential Responsibilities


 


·         Provide sales and business management direction to ensure achievement of revenue goals, minimize corporate risk and meet budget requirements.


·         Participate in developing the US sales business strategy, establish and monitor sales and account targets and  budgets to achieve the business goals.


·         Direct the Sales team ensuring proper training and direction as well as compliance with the overall sales strategy.


·         Manage the development of sales plans for geographical region to ensure clients receive comprehensive account management, access to timely Research materials/resources and exposure to products and services offered


·         Identify and develop good business relationships and synergies with internal departments, sales team members and customers to maximize revenue growth. 


·         Partner with Head office and US Corporate office to streamline the end to end business processes impacting the region.


·         Identify project and program opportunities with high impact to profitability and productivity improvement.


·         Mentor and guide assigned management teams on the execution of day-to-day business, understanding, implementing and utilizing company policies, procedures, practices, and tools.


·         Adhere, communicate, and reinforce compliance regulations, codes, standards, and requirements.


·         Hire, train, develop, manage the performance of, and regional sales staff to achieve revenue goals.


 


 


Qualifications


·         University Degree or College Diploma - preferably in business or related area.


·         5-7 years of sales management experience – essential.


 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


·         The ability to demonstrate success in prior role of driving revenue against targets and business unit growth YOY - essential.


·         Demonstrated ability to build a team and identify appropriate markets, customers and product offerings


·         Knowledge of all aspects of FX operations (both systems and service) and Global Payments including: FX/Settlement risk, business processes, standard practices, tools, and financial systems – desired.


·         Demonstrated leadership capabilities with ability to communicate vision and objectives to achieve results through teamwork.


·         Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage his/her team toward delivering exceptional results.


·         Financial literacy – an asset.


·         Experience with budget and/or project management – an asset.


·         Experience in the financial services industry - an asset.


·         Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.


·         Strong customer service skills (in a B2B environment).


·         Highly entrepreneurial spirit, growth and expansion oriented.


·         Brilliant self-management (autonomous work environment).


·         Proven analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.


·         Excellent planning and organizational skills.


·         Required travel: 40-50 %
