Regional Sales Manager

Capture 3D, Incorporated is the sole supplier of the Atos three dimensional scanning system for the North American market.  Since our entrance to the market in 1998 we have become the market leader in three dimensional optical measuring systems.  Capture 3D, Inc. is in the business of providing three dimensional measurement systems for industrial applications with a focus on the automotive and aerospace industries. 


An immediate opening exists in our
Detroit sales organization for an ambitious, highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Central and Eastern U.S. and parts of Canada.  Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing regional sales, sales administration and technical support functions in order to achieve region’s annual financial and strategic goals. 

 

The RSM must be able to effectively recruit, hire, manage, coach and develop sales representatives who will consistently produce and achieve exceptional results. A key responsibility of the RSM in this position is to supplement the Sales Representatives' formal sales training by ensuring that the execution of selling cycle is concise, professional, ethical, persuasive, and will lead the customer to take. Duties will include "ride-alongs" with Sales Representatives on customer visits to ensure that proper and effective sales methods marketing programs are being delivered.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
  • Three years Engineering Capital Equipment sales management experience
  • Three years in a consultative or concept selling
  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and OutLook

 

Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of people management, planning and organization skills
  • Knowledge of implementation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate forecasting skills
  • Demonstrate relationship management skills
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate leadership through compliance with the Company’s set of principles and standards
  • Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required
  • Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Metrology sales experience at the Senior Executive Level
