We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager in our San Antonio, Texas region. As a Regional Sales Manager with Zep Inc., you will have the opportunity develop a team of Zep Sales Representatives who sell a wide array of products with Excellent Brand Awareness, Strong Brand Identity, and products that offer Truly Superior Solutions.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will supervise all sales functions in the greater Houston region. This includes providing leadership to an assigned sales force as well as direct supervision of Field Sales Managers and direct report Sales Representatives. In addition, the RSM will:

• Create & implement strategies to meet or exceed sales & profitability objectives for the area.
• Manage area to budgeted resources
• Actively participate in the recruiting, hiring, & training process for new Zep Sales Representatives
• Call on Key Accounts in addition to supporting the field with sales calls.
• Develop quarterly sales objectives to the account and product line detail.

Position Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business to Business sales management experience with a track record of achieving sales objectives by leading & motivating diverse teams of people
• Must be accustomed to frequent travel within the assigned territory
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written & verbal; proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Proven ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
• Proven ability to sell to key accounts
