Reports to: Vice President of Sales
Territory: Latin America and Western United States
Location: Applicant may reside in CA, AZ, CO, UT, NV, TX or WI
Position Description:
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed case sales goals.
- Develop market strategies.
- Execute sales plans and promotions within territory.
- Manage sales via broker network-motivate and hold brokers accountable for executing sales plans and achieving sales goals.
- Interview, hire and train brokers as needed.
- Prospect and solicit key accounts within territory.
- Develop marketing programs for distributors.
- Plan, execute and sell at distributor and national trade shows.
- Manage territory expenditures versus budget/allowances
- Seek out, evaluate and communicate competitive information.
- Complete requested reports and paperwork on time.
- Develop presentations and proposals for key customers.
- Follow through on customer requests.
- Execute equipment roll out plans
- Handle distributor order problems and payment issues.
- Entertaining (minimal)
- Travel approximately 35% of the time (occasional weekend tradeshows)
- Make all travel arrangements.
- Drive proactive suggestions for continuous improvements.
- Identify issues before they become problems through close contact with key customers and brokers.
Skills and/or Experience
- Minimum 4 years outside sales, preferably in foodservice, convenience stores or concession industry.
- BS or BA Preferred but not required. Relevant experience considered.
- Fluent Spanish Required
- Understanding of foodservice supply chain
- Computer Experience-MSExel, MSWord, MSOutlook, MS PowerPoint
- Organizational and Management Skills, Multi-tasked
- Persuasive Communicator; Public Speaking Skills
- Self Motivated and Self Managing; Able to work flexible hours
